The Lord’s protection doesn’t mean that He is going to prevent you from getting the virus – We don’t know what is best for our spiritual lives, but we still need to pray and ask for protection while following the advice of medical professionals. Displaying the Divine Mercy image on our front doors is a real physical way to ask Jesus for His protection especially during troubling times, while also providing a way to remind ourselves to trust in Him.

Jesus said, “By means of this Image I shall be granting many graces to souls; so, let every soul have access to it“. (Diary of Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska: Divine Mercy in My Soul, 570).
